WELCOME TO RENA’S
It is our Vision to extend the love of the lake to new visitors to create lasting memories.
Dave and Dan McAllister have been spending summers and time on McGrath Pond most of their lives. It all began in 1971 when the family purchased the first camp on McGrath Pond. Their mom’s (Rena) dream was to have her place be the glue for her family and friends. Over the years there have been many family get togethers where there was water skiing, tubing, ice skating and fishing. They have enjoyed many barbecues and bonfires on the lake with the sounds of the loons echoing in the background. Rena built her first house on the cove in 1992 and was handed down to David and Dan after her passing in 2001. Over the next 20 years their families enjoyed time on the lake making memories and extending the family home to new guests looking for a memorable vacation in Maine.
In 2021, Dave and Dan made the investment in a new home situated on 69 Tilton Point trail. This 5 bedroom home is located on the original spot of the camp that Rena bought in 1971. This new home includes 4.5 bathrooms and a bunk room that sleeps 7. In all, the house sleeps 17 and is anchored by a 40 ft deck off the main house, 40 ft patio off the basement, and huge fire pit to enjoy the lake.
In 2022, Dave and Dan purchased Renas Sunset Cottage, a newly renovated bunk house was built on the original camp lot (1948) and has over 100 ft of shore frontage adjacent to the other 2 bedroom houses.
The three properties, which are adjacent to each other, can be rented by the week during the summer, June through September, or by weekend off season. The two homes can be rented separately or together to sleep 31 people. This is a truly unique property in the Belgrade Lakes region.
It is Dave and Dan’s vision to extend the love of the lake to new visitors to create lasting memories.
